AFT enjoyed its 2nd event of the year at Topanga Terrace and Villas as TTV’s inspiring team clinical staff, patient residents, and visiting friends and family came together for a wonderful day of art making!
In spite of some participants having limited abilities to speak or move freely, individuals beautifully demonstrated their ability to communicate and express themselves through their use of color, texture, and composition as they created stunning works of art in the form of flower arrangements.
Participants self selected the flowers, accent pieces, and vases they used, creating one of a kind artistic flower arrangements to show off their unique personalities and vibrant spirits.
Some found themselves so inspired by the experience that they began to make arrangements not only for themselves, but as gifts to give to those who have helped them along their recovery journeys as well.
Such an overwhelming joy and desire to create personal and meaningful gifts powerfully embodies AFT’s signature mission of creating opportunities for empowering self-expression and human connection.
